Before and After Skin

Skin Peels

Skin peels, also known as chemical peels, are treatments that use skin acids to exfoliate the skin, remove dead cells, and promote new cell growth. They help improve skin texture, tone, and overall appearance.

Chemical Peel Treatments

A chemical or skin peel is an exfoliating facial using a carefully selected blend of medical grade natural skin acids and ingredients.

County too popular belief most skin peels do not make the skin harshly peel with most clients experiencing a slight dryness and mild flaking of the skin.  The treatment deposits vital key ingredients to heal the skin tissue and exfoliate dead skin cells, stimulating new cell growth. This process causes superficial layers of dead skin too gently shed, revealing a healthier and more radiant complexion.

Skin Peel FAQ's & Advice

Will I have down time?

The skin may be red after your treatment for a couple of hours however clients usually look instantly fresh and dewy.  A tinted mineral based SPF 50  can be applied after the treatment to enable you return to your normal daily activities. The skin may feel dry and flake after 72 hours this only lasts 1-2 days, with Retinol based peels you should expect the skin to peel slightly for 1- 2 days. With all peels The skin should be fully healed after 5-7 days.

LED Light therapy and growth factors  can be added on to your peeling treatment to aid faster healing and improve treatment results.

Does the treatment hurt?

Clients usually experience some warmth and tingling when the solution is applied however this usually subsidies after a few seconds.

How Often should I have A Peeling treatment

For complete correction I recommend a course of 4- 6 peels every 2 weeks. For optimum skin health a peeling treatment can be done every 4- 8 weeks to boost your home care regime.

Can I have a chemical peel if I'm pregnant or breast feeding?

Chemical peels can not be done if you are pregnant or breast feeding.

Aternatively we offer soothing mask facials, Dermaplaning and Led Light Therpay which are the perfect skin treatment if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
